Pastors Tom & Cindy Schaefer | Lead Pastors

Tom and Cindy Schaefer have been pastoring NewLife Church since November 2009. Pastor Tom and Cindy have six children and eleven beautiful grandchildren.

After serving 26 years at Evangel World Prayer Center in Louisville, Kentucky, Pastor Tom and Cindy’s experience in leading and growing various ministries over the years has prepared them to serve well as lead pastors.

Since Pastor Tom and Cindy have come to NLC, much has transpired! In 2012, we had a name change from First Assembly of God of Bowling Green, Kentucky to NewLife Church of Bowling Green, Kentucky. We truly have experienced new life – spiritual and physical! A 600+ seat auditorium has been built, nine houses and one garage has been purchased to expand the campus, renovations to existing facility, consistent discipleship and leadership training, section community implemented, increased pastoral positions created to serve the congregation, reopened the daycare to serve the community and will invite guest speakers utilizing the five-fold ministry to impart gifts, vision and fresh anointing! As visionaries, Pastors Tom and Cindy are leading NewLife Church members and attenders into the plans and purposes of God and equipping the people to do the works of Jesus!
